Elsie Dresch Workshop

I attended an Elsie Dresch pastel workshop today. She demonstrated how to use pastel and mineral spirits for the background and then paint on top of that. First we had to do a small painting. Here is mine of a canal in Venice. Now I just have to transfer it to the larger painted sheet of paper. Check back to see the finished painting.

My daughter and her friends were with us for Thanksgiving. They made this wonderful Bourbon Pumpkin Cheesecake which was the hit of the meal, not to mention it is a true work of ART!
