I don't know Petey but this little Boston Terrier just touched my heart. His owner blogged about him here and their suspicions that he may have had a stroke. He looks so sweet, loved and at 12 1/2 years old I bet he has had a great life and brought much joy to his owners. He reminds me of my Daisy. She is a Jack Russell and is almost 16 years old. She has seizures and we suspect she had a stroke a few months ago. The day after the stroke she slept in the same spot for 48 hours. She didn't get up to eat. I brought her bowl to her and dipped my finger into water and put it on her tongue. For a while she walked around in circles, literally. My husband picked out a little casket (without my knowledge) and started clearing a spot in the back of our woods. Day by day, Daisy recovered. She doesn't jump up on our bed anymore, but for the most part she has recovered. We enjoy each day with her! These pets all hold a very special place in our hearts. Here's praying Petey recovers and lives a long full life!
