I painted a watercolor postcard for my nephew, Garrett, today. This scene was one I photographed on our vacation at Eagle Landing last month and I loved the bright primary colors contrasting with the dark background. I want to paint a larger version and thought I'd try out some colors on a smaller scale. Hopefully this will remind Garrett of his home and family while he is training at the Air Force Academy this summer.

KAYAKS AT EAGLE LANDING
I painted a watercolor postcard for my nephew, Garrett, today. This scene was one I photographed on our vacation at Eagle Landing last month and I loved the bright primary colors contrasting with the dark background. I want to paint a larger version and thought I'd try out some colors on a smaller scale. Hopefully this will remind Garrett of his home and family while he is training at the Air Force Academy this summer.
