'64 Pontiac Catalina

If it's the Fourth of July, it's time to pull out the Catalina. This car is my husband's prized possession. It belonged to my grandmother who lived in Canton, Mississippi and only drove it to the Piggley Wiggley and back. She bought it after my grandfather died. She really wanted a convertible but thought the neighbors might consider her a fluzzie so she settled for the hard-top convertible with bucket seats. When we got it in 1994, it only had 33,000 miles on it. It now has 44,000. We added seatbealts but mostly everything else is original. We had dalmations when we lived in Nashville. The female, Domino, loved riding in the Catalina! Yesterday, she cranked right up and we took her for a drive around Woodstock. Brings back a lot of memories!
