SWEATER ONE - FINISHED

LITTLE BABY SWEATER FINISHED

Sweater is finished and now being blocked.  I didn't do a gauge swatch and because I knit loosely it turned out to be approx a size 12 months instead of newborn.  Note to self:  take the time to do a gauge swatch...ALWAYS!  I love the yarn which is so soft and a lovely color.

SWEET LITTLE BABY HAT

Here is the latest hat that I just finished this morning.  The pattern is called SUPER QUICK BABY BONNET by Dilys Sutherland.  I added the I-cord ties.  I knit loose so I ended up using a US #3 needle for the the ribbing and a US #5 for the body of the hat.  I omited the lacework in the pattern.  The yarn is Spud & Chloe Sweater in color Ice Cream.  My friend Debby crocheted the wonderful flower for me.  I will definitely be ordering more flowers from her.  This hat was such fun and so quick to make.  It will be my go to pattern for a newborn present!
